Ultrasonic hydrolipoclasia, is an alternative to using the scalpel. It is used to quickly remove localized fat in the areas of highest concentration in the body through ultrasound treatment. It is a non-invasive and safe procedure and does not require anesthesia or hospitalization.
What does Hydrolipoclasia Ultrasonic mean?
Clasia: rupture or explode
Ultrasound produces thermogenesis, which is when waves are diffused in water or saline, and this produces "Cavitation" (burst of fat). Water thermogenesis generates waves of an intensity of 30 million times, the result of this is the increase of body heat through ultrasound. Fatty bodies are released and dissolve, and are naturally eliminated through the lymphatic system and through the urine.
This technique is intended to be applied in localized fat and usually has an effect similar to that of a micro liposuction.
How is it administered?
The areas to be treated with liposculpture are studied, marked and disinfected. Treatment areas usually include the abdominal area, hips, thighs, inner knee, neck, upper ankles, arms and chin.
Next, a combination of hypotonic sterile solutions and specific reducers are distributed into the subdermal tissue. The ultrasound is applied with a small device, and the patient has the feeling of receiving massage in the treated areas, this is the most important step because it is the one that breaks the fat cells.
After the ultrasound session, the treated area is slightly swollen by the liquid, which will be absorbed and naturally drained during the 48 hours following the procedure.
The advantage of this procedure is that the results are immediate, most patients notice a reduction within two or three sessions, but generally all notice a substantial reduction in a relatively short time. This procedure can be a permanent procedure provided the patient changes their eating habits and do some physical activity.
It is a very safe procedure, and it is very rarely the case where the patient has any side effect. This surgery is not advised if the patient has a metal prosthesis.
